Questions and answers

Every day at midnight New York time. There is one daily puzzle for the whole world, with seven rounds: two numeric estimates and five answers from named categories.

Named answers must be on the category’s verified list. Matching ignores capitals, accents and punctuation, recognizes aliases and allows small typos. An unknown or ambiguous answer does not use up your round; the clock keeps running.

Answers are compared on a ratio scale. Within 1% earns a 25-point Dialed bonus. The Golden Round doubles all points. Each point climbs 10 metres; after a three-second grace period the clock costs four metres a second. Read the full rules.
